INSIDE MY HEAD

When Silence Prevails…..

The Hyderabad Blast

The Hyderabad Blast

Protest After Delhi Rape Case

Protest After Delhi Rape Case

A crying mother on her haunches,

Her child being taken away.

And you watch it from a distance

Maintaining your silence

Or you might be mistaken.

This is the way, it always has been.

The screams never heard, not ever.

A child screams for his mother,

While we sit in our home

Praying with a hollow soul.

A city the blast took,

A lady the men raped.

Hollow brothers and mothers behind it left,

And we stare at the face

of the fierce darkness that waits ahead.
